These two products are sold as one.  Together they make a complete system for cataloging and labeling your disks and finding those "lost" files.  Hard drive owners will appreciate the file optimizing routines and there is a new Edit File function.  Also included are encode and decode functions to password protect your files.  Some of Disk Ranger's features are detailed below.

Ranger Reader is a desk accessory that will find files on a disk or search through a Disk Ranger catalog.  This allows you to keep a master catalog and then quickly find any file on any disk in your entire collection!  If Ranger Reader finds a file for you on a disk, the next time you choose "Open" the dialog will show you the correct folder for opening the file you just found.
